Mommy Daughter Date

Amelie and I very much enjoyed spending some time together on a Saturday before she started kindergarten. We went out to breakfast at Panera (thanks for the gift card Mike and Karen!) and then to the playground. She is a joy and a blessing in our lives!

Amelie enjoyed playing soccer with two of her friends from church. Most days were very hot! Can you tell?

Taste of Chicago

The kids and I were able to meet up with our friends, the Paynes, at the Taste of Chicago for some good food. Amelie and Gabe tried out a free lesson in break dancing :)
