Christmas with the Schulz

Busy little lady

Amelie has been working hard at school taking tests and practicing for her "winter assembly" this Thursday. She loves to sit and do her homework next to daddy and keep him company if he is working at home (see picture below). At church, she just performed her verse and song in the Christmas program. I also saw her busy reading the Bible to her stuffed animals all lined up on her bed on a Sunday afternoon. Maybe she'll make a great Sunday school teacher one of theses days :)

St. Nicholas Ball

One of the partners that Moises works with invited us to the St. Nicholas Ball again this year. It is a fund raising event for Catholic Charities (which is Moises' client). They had 1,300 people attend and an incredible live band.

Gabe's birthday

Amelie's friend, Gabe, had super hero dress up party for his birthday. Amelie dressed up as Spider Girl (homemade costume).

Matthew's therapy

You can see in this video how excited Matthew gets when things light up and flash quickly. This is very typical with kids seeking sensory input.

Halloween

The pictures below are mostly of Amelie's Halloween party at school. The 2 little girls pictured with her are Lily and Claire, her best friends at school. Amelie is with her science teacher in another picture. The picture with two teachers is her Kindergarten teacher on the right and the teacher's aid on the left.
