Ever have one of those days when you don't feel like cooking 'cause the day before you got comments like, "well mommy, at least the colors look good together...", followed by "but daddy and I don't like it!" said ever so politely?

Well, I know I'll be feeling like that tomorrow after today's meal! It all started with Uncle Luis posting something about having Corned Beef Hash on his Facebook. Then, Moises' mouth watered and he thought we should have Corned Beef Hash.

So, after asking 3 different people at the grocery store for corned beef in a can, I came home with the real thing. After 4 dirty pans and an hour of preparation the corned beef hash was served.

My family very politely tried to eat it, but the work was in vain.

Moral of the story: don't bother with the real thing! (at least not for our family). Corned Beef from the can and 10 min. prep. is just fine.

Not to mention I forgot to serve it Puerto Rican style "over rice" ;)

Below is our spontaneous family picture we took last night. This November we've enjoyed making pumkin pie, reading Charlotte's Webb and Junie B. Jones. Amelie and Heather have been sick this past week, but the boys have stayed healthy :)
